Let me walk you through how I turned a buried, underused comparison feature into a full-screen decision workspace — one that helps investors visually analyse, compare, and act on client data with confidence

About the Company

Yubi (formerly CredAvenue) is building the infrastructure to power debt markets in India and beyond. Its suite of financial products enables institutions to discover, execute, and manage debt transactions across multiple channels, making debt more accessible, transparent, and efficient.

About the Project

We redesigned the Peer Comparison Tool at Yubi to empower investors with a scalable, visual, and intelligent interface to compare up to four clients within the same asset class. The redesign moved the experience from a hidden table buried inside a profile tab to a full-screen financial decision surface built around clarity, discoverability, and guided exploration.

Why the Redesign?

The original tool wasn’t broken — it just wasn’t helping anyone.

It lived deep inside a client profile, buried under tabs, showing a wall of numbers that didn’t really mean much unless you were already an expert. There were no visuals, no guidance, and no real sense of why you were comparing those clients in the first place.

Most users didn’t even know it existed.

Those who did? Didn’t come back often.

So the goal wasn’t just to make it prettier.

It was to rethink the role of this tool entirely — from passive data display to an active decision-making space.

We wanted it to feel like a surface you’d go to when you needed to evaluate, decide, and move forward — not just glance and leave.

That’s why we rebuilt it from the ground up.

New layout. New flows. New mental model.

“Not just a redesign — a repositioning.”
